The Municipality of Kaunas, Lithuania, is one of the most active members in the ECAD network and is also a winner of ECAD Award.

The conference will focus on early intervention in drug prevention, child crime prevention and prevention of substance use among middle school students.

ECAD Secretary General holds a presentation on the Future of Drug Policy.

It is also an opportunity to take up the Icelandic model of evidence-based prevention and the success of Youth in Europe Prevention programme that will celebrate 10 years next year.

Kaunas is one of 25 municipalities that takes part in Youth in Europe prevention programme; it runs in 13 languages now and is still open for other cities to join.
